The workshop is hosted by The Shakespeare Theatre Company, and takes place at their rehearsal spaces at 507 8th St SE, Washington DC.
The workshop will begin at 9:00am on Saturday November 10 and conclude at 6:00 on Sunday the 11th.
The main workshopspace is Metro accessible and only two blocks from the Eastern Market station on the Orange and Blue lines.
The Shakespeare Theatre rehearsal spaces are part of the popular and growing Barracks Row neighborhood in DC’s Capitol Hill, with ample food in wide price ranges available nearby. This popular neighborhood does have limited parking, and residential streets nearby have zone restrictions. If you do drive, be mindful of where you park to avoid a ticket. We will be a few minutes’ walk from the Capitol, Library of Congress, Supreme Court, and National Mall.
Washington DC is served by three major airports: the easiest and closest is Reagan National Airport (DCA) which is Metro accessible. Shuttle, taxi, and light rail services are available from our other two airports, Baltimore Washington International (BWI) and Dulles International Airport (IAD).
There are a wide range of hotels, hostels, and Airbnb options available throughout the capitol region. Registration does not cover housing, but we would be happy to help you decide between housing options.
